We are seeking highly motivated Software Test Engineer Senior to support opportunities in the Mission Assurance in Moorestown, NJ.
Responsibilities: Work in a collaborative team providing Integration and Test support for the development and sustainment of Mission Critical Real-Time Systems, performing the following tasks:
* Operate using Agile software delivery methodology. * Ensuring the development and maintenance of regression test suites. * Analyzing requirements for integration and/or testability issues. * Support continuous improvement by refining our testing process. * Work within a cross-functional development team of 3 to 15 engineers. * Independently lead and mentor junior test engineers. * Develop or update system level test plans and test procedures along with associated regression test plans and procedures. * Performing all aspects of verification (functional, structural, regression, and system testing). * Lead the review of system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts). * Partnering with Scrum Master to drive continuous improvement within the Agile team. * Assemble the solution / product elements in a logical and controlled manner to evaluate the design, behavior, interactions and performance, and to confirm that the requirements against which the solution / product has been designed are fulfilled. * Drive development of automation scripts and work in staging and integration test environments and, when needed, troubleshoot production issues to identify root cause and enhance the testing automation suite. * Manage and maintain automated testing frameworks.
* 6-9 years of experience in software development and/or testing software. * Excellent and communication skills required. * Strong understanding of where QA (System Test) fits within the SDLC. * Enthusiastic about building test suites and tools that automate processes. * Ability to take on projects and operate with minimal oversight desired. * Ability to write detailed test cases and execute testing for a real-time mission critical weapon system. * Acquainted with Jenkins or similar continuous integration software. * Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Automated Test methodologies. * Experience with CMMI Level 5 life cycle processes and procedures. * Understanding of SDLC principles and Agile Methodologies utilizing JIRA framework. * Experience in writing test cases and executing in an embedded hardware/software environment. * Experience working with and communicating effectively with development teams. * Strong skills with MS Office. * US Citizenship to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Experience with the following tools is a plus:
* JIRA (Issue and bug tracking tool) * Sikuli (Automated Test tool) * Jenkins (Continuous Integration tool)
Education: Bachelor's Degree in any of the following: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics.
