Join the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK? team as an office manager! The office manager works closely with the franchisee on tracking all financial aspects of the franchise, responding to all customer service requests, and maintaining the franchise's records.
* Design, implement, and review office policies, standards and procedures; find opportunities for improvement * Maintain documents such as contract management files * Responsible for franchise insurance renewals and ongoing submission and monitoring of claims * Responsible for all franchise tax reporting and annual filings * Support customer service by providing move estimates, ensuring customer concerns are handled in a timely manner, and overseeing customer service team lead * Process job sheets (sales orders) in internal move software; ensure accuracy of sales orders * Responsible for all billing related inquiries from customers * Prepare monthly executive financial reporting for franchise which includes financial reporting, AR reporting, COGS reporting, administrative/compliance reporting * Preparation, analysis, and reporting of franchise budget * Prepare for and participates in annual financial audit * Manage the process AP invoice journals and prepare AP payment journals and check runs * Manage the AR process including customer payment entry and bank deposit creation * Monitor AR balance, make collection calls as needed; submits monthly AR report * Prepare daily bank deposits * All other duties as assigned
* A minimum of an Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred. * Three to five years accounting and/or bookkeeping experience is required. * Three to five years of customer service experience is required. * Considerable knowledge of basic accounting procedures and practices * Ability to maintain complex financial records and to prepare financial reports accurately * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills * Must be proficient with the following Microsoft applications: * Excel * Word * Outlook * QuickBooks
