Legal Reporter (Level 1 Journalist – Temporary)
Reuters is seeking a Legal Reporter to hit the ground running and cover a wide range of legal news, from the business of law, its personalities and practitioners to a range of practice areas. The ideal candidate will write about high-profile court filings and rulings on a daily basis and will also be expected to proactively identify broader trends and bellwethercases as they develop. This journalist must be able to report deeply and write quickly with insight for a targeted readership of legal professionals. The reporter will use online legal research tools, must have curiosity to delve into the world of white shoe and plaintiffs’ lawyers, lobbyists and special interest groups. A minimum of two years of experience as a journalist is required.
