The Franklin Fountain is seeking positive minded individuals with some baking/pastry/ice cream experience. Seasonal needs vary so top performers have an opportunity to train across multiple departments over the course of the year including candy, chocolate, ice cream, baked goods, etc.
Ideal candidate is able to follow recipes, lift up to 50 lb, multi-task, work efficiently and neatly. Self-directed time management and organization is a must. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, able to pick up quickly when taught new things.
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
* Reporting to Franklin Fountain Kitchen Manager & interfacing with kitchen production schedule
* Preparing baked goods, toppings, and other confections, assisting in ice cream production, other prep work.
* Cleaning and maintaining workspace and equipment.
* Flexible during seasonal demands/variety of kitchen tasks
* Some food safety experience, ServSafe certified a plus.
* Weekend/holiday availability
* Experience in professional kitchen setting preferred.
