Description: Candidate will work across Aegis programs at Lockheed Martin RMS in Moorestown, NJ with responsibilities in Element Test Function/Readiness tasking for Radar Systems. They will perform functional analysis, design trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition to translate customer requirements into software specifications. Support integration and test, evaluate test results, investigate discrepancies, provide technical assessment of anomalies, and drive issues to resolution. Represent the organization on contracts and interface with internal and external customers, program and senior leadership, and multidisciplinary engineering teams on significant technical matters. Experience with SPY, MMSP, ERDDS, and ORTS is preferred. The candidate should also be willing to obtain a bachelor?s degree in an engineering related field. Basic Qualifications: Experience with the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and operation of USN combat systems/equipment (Aegis Combat/Weapon Systems), experience as a SPY-1A, SPY-1B, SPY-1B(V), SPY-1D, SPY-1D(V) and/or SPY-1D(MOD) RADAR and signal processor technician. Familiarity and compliance with the Navy PMS (OPNAVINST 4790.4 series). Be able to perform a variety of maintenance and technical support on the SPY-1 RADAR system, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations. Be able to analyze and evaluate system performance. Maintain, test, operate, align, repair and conduct data analysis on in-service SPY-1 signal processor equipment. Conduct testing, casualty repair, assessments, grooms, equipment modifications and upgrades on SPY-1 radar equipment. Leverage preventive and corrective maintenance as training opportunities to develop and enhance US Navy sailor technical proficiency. Desired Skills: Experience with recent baselines (SPY-1/DV, B/L 8 and 9, MMSP, BMD a plus. Fiber Optic Repair technician certification (MIL-STD-2042/MIL-STD-1678) and/or Connection/Wire Wrap certification (MIL-STD-1130C) highly desired. Excellent communication skills, good interpersonal skills (both for written and oral communications), ability to maintain effective customer relations, ability to provide onsite training of customer support personnel, ability to work across a wide range of levels of seniority from junior technicians to senior officers and senior engineers or LM managers. Experience with shipboard maintenance programs, the JFMM, continuous improvement process, and working knowledge of ACS peripheral equipment and interfaces. Intermediate level of competence with Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel, Power Point and Project).
