Opportunity: Project Manager Manage hotel construction and capital planning projects in accordance with project plans and budgeted parameters, and help support Engineering related project overlap. Potential Career Path Senior Project Manager Director of Capital Planning Essential Job Functions Review Property Improvement Plans (PIPs) to determine cost and scheduling parameters. Participate in project due diligence for PIPs. Review, analyze, and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Inspect construction materials, construction work, and prepare inspection report. Oversee facade repair, roofing, building systems, and deferred maintenance. Participate in scope preparation and relevant construction estimating for budget preparation. Provide project updates and maintain consistent level of communication between upper management, operational team and regional Engineering team. Follow up with consultants, contractors, RFI, change orders, punch list, etc. Assist in preparing inhouse/ AIA construction contract documents. Prepare cost estimate for the construction items associated with the identified project. Attend and/or conduct regular meetings with consultants and contractors. Monitor project schedule to ensure timely completion of projects and provide updates. Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM s Earthview program. Practice safe work habits related to OSHA and other industry regulations. Perform other duties as requested by management. Position Requirements 5-year construction-related degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience (building HVAC, life safety, mechanical and envelope systems experience preferred). 3-5 years experience in managing mechanical/building construction projects and a thorough knowledge of contract documents, materials, equipment utilization, scheduling systems, productivity analysis, construction operations, estimating and budgets. Hotel experience preferred but not required. MEP certifications and background. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills. Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to work well within a deadline driven environment. Perform functions efficiently and accurately with little direct supervision. Must maintain a professional attitude and conduct oneself in positive manner at all times. Positive attitude and professional customer service skills. Proficient management, leadership, business development, and technical skills. Must be able to perform in fast paced, changing environment. Efficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project. Work Environment and Context Requires standing and sitting for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching, kneeling, stooping, crawling and climbing, and using hands and fingers to operate computer and mechanical equipment.
