This includes activities to implement, configure, and troubleshoot database instances as well as replication, backup, partitioning, storage, and access. Other tasks include the monitoring and optimization of system performance using index tuning, disk optimization, and other methods and the administration of user privileges within the database environment. Position Requirements: Technical Duties and Leadership Primary responsibility for ALL Oracle database environments with operational responsibilities Performs all routine database management procedures, installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, data movement and performance tuning, capacity planning, export / import operations, users' management, production 24x7 support and more. Maintains and administers failover disaster recovery solution Maintains Oracle Support accounts Centralized administration and monitoring of daily OS jobs Implement ASM file system for the applications Assists in providing estimated costs, quotes and budget plans for DB Server products and options Performs other assigned duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
